Drive Directions
There is only one main road from the airport to
Heraklion centre. Follow this street until you reach
the old harbour of Heraklion. After the round about
at the 18th Anglon square you go straight at
Sofoklis Venizelou Str. You pass by St. Peters
church and then you turn left. After 10 meters right
again at Chronakis str. Follow Chronakis Str and on
the third corner turn left and you’ll find the hotel
just in front of you. Use the map in case you need
some extra directions. The airport to the city
centre is about 4Km.

Positives:
Hotel is quite close to sea front and in a fairly quiet location. The breakfast was fine and breakfast room nicely decorated. The twin room was spacious, well decorated and modern. Good view from roof terrace.

Kastro hotel is situated in a quiet neigborhood in the center of Irakleion, near the archaelogical museum, and the cafeterias and shops.The lobby of the hotel looks very pleasant and modern.The staff is very nice and helpful and the breakfast was very good. The room was medium sized, quiet and clean. The bathroom had a nice shower. I recommend this hotel to all travers to Irakleion.
