Drive Directions
Arriving by Airplane: the only road that travels from the airport to Heraklion centre is “Ikarou” street. Follow this road all the way to the city centre. After approximately 4 km, you will be going uphill with the Venetian Wall and grassed areas to your right. When you reach the Archaeological Museum (at the top of the hill), turn directly right down “Bofor” Street. After 150 meters, this road turns a bend and becomes “Epimenidou” Street where you will see Lato Hotel approx. 150 meters in front of you. Please, use the third map as a reference.

Review:
That is quite a nice hotel. Good location, harbor view great service. We had a corner room that had a separate sitting area, bedroom area, and bathroom. These individual areas in the room were quite small - but it was very modern and obviously recently renovated. The A/C worked well, which was important given it was 91 degrees outside. Unfortunately we didn't get a harbor view. Buffet breakfast was pleasantly satisfying. We don't know how Lato Hotel compares with others in the city but overall we were pretty pleased.

Positives:
That's an excellent hotel, only a few minutes from the port and airpor. I stayed a week with my family in October in a suite. The room was very large and it had such a nice view to the old port of Heraklion. The hotel has also a brilliant gourmet restaurant. The staff is very friendly and made us feel comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
Negatives:
The room was a little noisy beacause the hotel is central and have a rather small parking.

Positives:
Lato Boutique hotel is the best hotel I have stayed in for long time ago. The room was very nicely decorated and had a balcony with great view. People were very friendly, and the breakfast was just fantastic. It is also in the center of Heraklion and it has a parking for the clients.
Negatives:
The room was a quite small.

Review:
A great experience in Crete. The hotel is in the center of Heraklion, so all important sights are easy to reach. The staff is friendly, and very helpful. Very clean and fully equipped rooms, with view to the harbour. Also the hotel has a quality restaurant and a small spa. Great deal!

Review:
We stayed at the Lato for a single night on our way to Santorini. If we hadn't prebooked ferry tickets we would have probably extended our stay in this hotel. Our room was modern and lovely. They gave us a standard double room but we asked for a room with a view and were upgraded to a junior suite for the same price as the regular one! Room's balcony had a view of the picturesque harbor. The town centre is only five minutes away although it is necessary to take a bus or taxi to the airport and the archaelogiacal sites. The woman at the reception desk was very helpful. We did enjoy our stay there.
